Come and sit on our verandah, listen to the water gurgling past in the water furrow, watch the

passers-by and tune into Prince Albert 's friendly vibe. Or in winter, sit inside the coffee shop round a roaring wood fire.

Our aim at Café Albert is to provide you with freshly prepared good, wholesome dishes using as many ingredients as possible supplied by the people of Prince Albert and the surrounding areas.

Our menu offers:

Breakfasts - served all day

Light meals and snacks

Toasted sandwiches

Cakes, tarts, home-made ice creams

Some of the best filter coffees around

Espressos, cappuccinos and chai

Other cold and hot drinks

Café Albert Specials reflect dishes made from seasonal produce, with an emphasis on Prince Albert and Karoo flavours.

We are also open WEDNESDAYS, FRIDAYS and

This will accommodate families with young children and weary travellers! Our menu will be more casual with lighter meal options.

Last orders will be

at 9 pm.

Café Albert offers a small, select a la carte menu to tempt your taste buds. Dishes are designed to take advantage of fresh ingredients in season, using locally sourced products where possible.

Seating is outside on the stoep so in summer guests are able to enjoy our spectacular Karoo sunsets and evening skies and, most evenings, our fresh mountain breezes.

We are proud to announce that we now have a new inside seating area, complete with open fireplace, to provide a cosy, snug atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal. The open verandah area is, of course, also still available for those hardy souls who wish to brave the cold and sit outside.

We have also changed our menu to accommodate the colder weather (although the ever-popular sirloin will still be available!) – so, come and try our winter fare.

Remember – Café Albert – Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights from 18h30.

As Café Albert is not licensed, guests are welcome to bring their own wine. We do not charge corkage.

Booking is obviously preferable as seating is limited.
