The huge fully enclosed garden has fruit trees, a dam for swimming in summer and a family of five regular tortoise visitors as well as two resident dogs. The garden has direct access to the koppie and the Weltevrede road for walks with gorgeous views, fascinating plant life and magnificent sunsets.

The Olive House Prince Albert’s prettiest little farmhouse in town Now back under owner management Re-opened on the first day of Spring – 1st September 2008!
The cottage sleeps two to four guests in ample, spacious accommodation – two bedrooms, two bathrooms,  a dining room and large living room with fireplace. The back verandah, draped in shady vines, has a braai area and seating for al fresco meals.
The kitchen is equipped with crockery, cutlery, a two-plate counter-top stove/oven, kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. There is also an original wood-burning Dover stove.  All beds are made up with crisp white pure cotton linen and have electric blankets for winter. Furnishings are fresh and simple, with some lovely old country pieces, reflecting the true spirit of the Karoo.
