One of the favourite events at the Olive Festival is our Olive Pip Spitting Competition. Local policeman, Graham Hendriks, is 2014's best Olive Pip Spitter with a record spit of 12.25 metres. Graham beat the late Clive van Hasselt's long-standing record of 11.2 metres and took home the Clive van Hasselt floating trophy and a hamper of delicious Prince Albert products.
