Prince Albert’s prettiest little farmhouse, with the
best view in town. A private retreat for romantics, artists and
dreamers. The Olive House (1845) is tucked away in a cul-de-sac on the
fringe of the village, overlooking a small private vineyard and fruit
orchards with the majestic Swartberg as a backdrop. Waken to the sound
of birdsong, and at night, simply inhale the stars.

|

|
| The cottage sleeps two to four guests in ample,
spacious accommodation – two bedrooms, two bathrooms,
a dining room and large living room with fireplace. The back
verandah, draped in shady vines, has a braai area and seating for al
fresco meals.

|
| The kitchen with its old Dover stove is adequately
equipped for preparing light meals. All beds are made up with crisp
white pure cotton linen and have electric blankets for winter.
Furnishings are fresh and simple, with some lovely old country pieces,
reflecting the true spirit of the Karoo.
