| Whether its small projects, medium sized projects
(like this one pictured here), or huge projects, they do it
properly.
Their specialty is database applications, which can take many
forms, e.g.
 | An online booking system,
| a website, or
| a vehicle tracking system. |

Over the last 20 years, Brian Modra (their Software Engineer) has
been writing software, and this experience has brought him into
contact with many facets of computer software design.
Recently, (in the last 7 years), he's been |

| involved with the design and implementation of some large online
services. As a result, his understanding of some of the finer details of
how to make programs that can handle load and size (when it becomes
"huge") has grown to the point where he now knows how to avoid
these problems from the start, by good design. |

|
So he started "The Karoo
Project", which is a framework on which he builds every
program. It solves all the "scalability" issues, and also
simply makes it a lot easier to create a program. So whether its a
small or large project, he uses it. In technical terms, The Karoo
Project brings super-computing to business.
The Karoo Project is "Open Source
Software", so everyone gets it for free. |
